Van Pham
Van has been a professional makeup and hair artist for over 5 years. Although she is highly
experienced in all genres of makeup including; theatre, special effects, fashion, and beauty,
Van specializes in bridal and pageants.
Because Van believes that her clients must LOOK and FEEL gorgeous inside and out, she
works with her clients to achieve their desired look. While she is comfortable with giving
clients suggestions on new looks and products, she never forgets to ensure that her client’s
wants and desires are of the utmost importance. With her wide range of makeup experiences,
Van works with her client to design their perfect wedding day image,
whether it be a Kardashianesque glam bride or a glowing sun-kissed bride.
Van is a professional artist who believes that no two faces are exactly alike, therefore, she
invests in a wide range of high quality makeup brands and formulas that can suit any skin
type and color. She is able to masterfully mix custom foundations, lipsticks, and blushes to
perfectly match her clients’ needs. Van will design a special makeup combination that will be
photo friendly and comfortable for long wear.
Van feels that the key to a beautiful face is first having beautiful skin; she pays close
attention to, and does a thorough analysis of her client’s skin type and lifestyle. Van’s
professional training and understanding of skin and hair care has allowed her to always
ensure that she is providing her clients with not just beautiful makeup but advice on how they
can best take care of their skin and hair prior to their wedding day
Van guarantees clean and safe practices. Her clients can rest assure that never will a brush
touch more than one client’s face without going through a thorough disinfecting and
sanitizing routine. All wet products go through a clean spatula and palette system to ensure
no chances of cross contamination. Pencil products are sharpened and sanitized as soon
as they are used. Van also invests heavily in disposable tools such as; sponges, mascara
wands, lip stick wands, and face puffs, because her client’s safety is her number one priority.
Sanitation is important to Van, therefore, hand washing and antibacterial sanitizers are a
must.
Van has a great relationships not only with her clients , but also with a great network of
photographers, designers, and other artists. Most notably, Van is one of the senior artists
on the A-List Makeup team (www.AListMakeup.com), which won Bride’s Choice Award
2011 from Wedding Wire. Van, herself, had won Bridal’s Best of the Bay 2010: Best Bridal
Makeup in San Francisco County.
