Princess Project 2012

For those of you who do not know what the Princess Project is, it’s a non-profit organization that collects donated prom dresses and accessories to give away to high school aged girls who would not otherwise be able to afford a prom dress. The dresses and accessories are donated both by the public, like yourself, and from retailers. There are two weekends in March where the girls can come and “shop” for their prom dresses with the help of volunteer shoppers.

A Mid Summer Night’s Dream Wedding

Wedding Planner: Charmed Events

Makeup & Hairstyling: Vanity Pham

When our bride told me about her unique wedding theme, Shakespear’s Mid Summer Night’s Dream, we brainstormed quite a few Greecian hairstyles before deciding on a half-up half-down done with a beautiful twist separating her layers of soft curls.

Getting ready to reveal our bride!

A Natural Makeover with Elizabeth

Elizabeth has never worn a touch of makeup before and so wanted something extremely natural. This was a case of “Less is More.”

Her eyelashes were done with individual clumps of lashes glued onto just the outer corners of her eyes. And bye bye to dark circles with the help of Amazing concealer. Highlighters helped to brighten her skin by reflecting back so much light.  Elizabeth was all smiles after her make over.

Her friends were amazed at her natural yet gorgeous transformation.

Horrifying Post

Another makeup artist and I were talking about how sometimes professional blogs can get so boring because everything we write is so fine and dandy. Wedding in the Land Down Under

I was blessed with cousins who live in the Land Down Under and had a romantic beach wedding at the famous Byron Bay. To be honest, I was never one for beach weddings (think wind and sand! Yikes!) but Jenny’s wedding definitely changed my mind. I mean, can you get any more personal than your loved ones all barefoot on the beach listening to you exchange vows amongst a soft breeze? LOVE <3
