I was blessed with cousins who live in the Land Down Under and had a romantic beach wedding at the famous Byron Bay. To be honest, I was never one for beach weddings (think wind and sand! Yikes!) but Jenny’s wedding definitely changed my mind. I mean, can you get any more personal than your loved ones all barefoot on the beach listening to you exchange vows amongst a soft breeze? LOVE <3

That’s the last bride in the family looking on. She must think I’m a traitor, working on other brides and all. Haha.

We changed her lip colors to a nude/pink to coordinate with her flowing white dress for the beach ceremony.

This is one of my favorite pictures of Jenny. Why? It’s taken in the middle of the night at the hotel pool where the bride held an impromptu pool party. She went in, dress, makeup, hair and all. Makeup is water resistant? CHECK! If she can jump in the pool and still look like this, any bride can tear joyfully and still look flawless!

Black and white photos are so incredibly romantic.

These photos are staged! Hehe, I ended up doing all the pretty bow tying. How great is it to have a professional makeup artist who also professional ties bows on the side!? (Okay, I don’t do it professionally but I am a perfectionist and super crafty so I’m great at things like tying bows!)

All done! This is such a beautiful picture of the gorgeous bride. We contoured her eyes in soft browns chose warm pinks and gold for her overall look to give her a very sweet romantic look.

We put Christina’s hair up into a classic updo for her ceremony and decorated her hair with small crystal details.

Somemore extremely romantic photos for everyone to feel some warmth in the cold winter months.

We set up Christine’s hair so that for her reception she was easily able to take down her up do and her hair fell naturally into a half-up half-down hairstyle. If you take another look at the first getting ready photo, you can see the process of her hair being put up strategically allowing Christine to have 2 hairstyles for her wedding day without hiring for a touch-up session. How awesome is that?! Have your wedding cake AND eat it too!

From the trial Andreana was very clear about what she wanted. She was very particular and we were so happy to have been able to execute her dream look!

Then I saw her wedding photos and was STUNNED at all the gorgeous details and decorations. Her perfectionalism  (I made up my own word!) really paid off and it showed. Her wedding looked like such a dream. I could not help but ooooh and aaaaaah over the finer touches.

I love this photo! The lighting right on Andreana is so perfect and the background really screams San Francisco!

Andreana wanted her hair to be full and voluminous with a large braid framing her face.

Her makeup was very clean and photographed beautifully.  The amount of rouge and pink on her lips is so perfect, very blushing bride!

More fussing over the bride. I love this photo, Andreana just looks so radiant and glowing! Mom looks glamorous too, with the help of artist Jenny (also working for Vanity Pham).

This is probably my favorite photo of the bunch. You can’t get a more genuine happiness smile than this!

Andreana was gorgeous with her hair both up and down! Artist Lela came back to restyle her hair and said that by evening Andreana’s makeup was still beautifully in place without a smudge!

Making over Janice was easy as she had such beautiful features already. I used plenty of peachy gold highlights right above her cheekbones to give her a subtle golden glow. I kept with the same warm tones through out her makeup, on her eyelids and even added a little pop of gold on her peachy lipstick.

I think everyone’s favorite part of Janice’s makeover was her hair. She has such beautiful thick hair that was a dark brown shade. But luckily it was just light and shiny enough to show off the beautiful braid that turned her locks into a half-up half-down do. As Janice looked into the mirror for the first time, she gasped and said this is the perfect wedding day look she’s always dreamed of. I laughed and told her when the time comes, we’ll figure it out. But that at least for tonight, she should go out somewhere nice!
